Why we use the AW3 ® handheld laser system.

Find out more about our handheld laser system, what treatments we use it for and why we chose it for Botanix Clinic.

Our start to the year has been very busy and we’ve added new exciting treatments for you to enjoy!

We wanted to start off by telling you all about our popular laser treatments, what machinery we use for these treatments, and why we decided to chose it for our clinic so you will know that when you want through the doors at Botanix Clinic that you’re in safe hands.

In this ever-evolving aesthetic industry, there are so many laser devices to choose from but we wanted to introduce a laser that would be able to deal with a variety of treatments, have great safety systems and would be able to be used for a number of years to come. Because of this, we decided to opt for the Allwhite AW3® Flash combo model which offers IPL laser treatments, like hair removal, as well as ND Yag Laser treatments, such as tattoo removal.

This two-in-one machine is a laser ND Yag system combined with an IPL machine, meaning there is no need for two devices if you required two different laser treatments. The system is easier to use and alleviates the need for heavy, cumbersome machinery and makes the procedure more straightforward. The system also offers a variety of other skin treatments such as skin rejuvenation, wrinkle reduction, skin pigmentation clearing, acne clearance, thread vein reduction and much more.

The ND Yag laser, which is used for tattoo removal, is equipped with laser targetting as standard, for superior precision aiming.

We are pleased to say that we are highly recommended by top tattooists in Bury St Edmunds, for both fading of tattoos and complete removal. The system is also recommended by the popular TV show Tattoo Fixers.

What to think about when wanting to book laser treatments:

If you are looking to undertake a laser treatment, we would recommend you think quite far ahead. As the area that’s to be treated must not be exposed to UVA rays 30 days post-treatment, we advise clients to pick the times for treatment carefully. Think about when you’re looking to go on holiday and discuss this with us on your pre-treatment consultation to ensure that the treatments work properly and that the treated area isn’t harmed by UVA rays.
